Benjamin Young is an award-winning composer working in Los Angeles, California with experience composing for TV, games, game trailers, independent films, and the classical stage, as well as working for A-list composers on A-list projects.

Benjamin has scored over a dozen video games, several dozen short films and documentaries, a few feature-length films, and has worked on a number of AAA game trailers. Some of his credits include Planet Crafter, Love, Death and Robots Seasons 1-3, documentaries Groundhog Town and The School of Canine Massage, and trailers for Elder Scrolls Online, Destiny 2, Halo Wars 2, Titanfall 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire, as well as the Emmy-Award-Winning Sizzler Reel for Seattle PBS.

Benjamin's current projects include several unannounced TV and game projects as well as the game Savior.

Benjamin's music can be heard on over 30 TV shows, including Netflix’s Love, Death and Robots, ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and NBC's Dateline, Animal Planet's My Cat From Hell and Pit Boss, MSNBC's Lockup and Lockup: Extended Stay, truTV's Bait Car and Forensic Files, among others.

Benjamin has also been part of the music team on American Dad, Seth Macfarlane's No One Ever Tells You, The Forger, and TNT's Dallas.

Benjamin completed an internship with Henry Jackman and with Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions and The Music Collective.

Benjamin is a graduate of the Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television graduate program at University of Southern California, class of 2013. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Composition in 2012 at Webster University in St. Louis.
